Halloween Information & Route
We want students to be creative and have fun with their costumes, but safety is our number one priority. Please adhere to the following guidelines when choosing a costume:
1. Students may come dressed in a costume, but they must be able to change into school clothes at 10:30.
2. Costumes may not be demeaning or offensive.
3. The following will not be allowed:
• Face make-up
• Depiction of blood or guts
• Racist or promiscuous dress
• Weapons (swords, guns, scythes)
Halloween parties are “breakfast parties.” They are scheduled the first hour of the school day (9:15- 10:15AM). It is recommended that party treats be balanced and nutritious with limited sweets. Our school parade will begin at 10:15 and conclude at 10:30. Please see the parade route below.
Parents can choose to not have their child participate in Halloween activities. Regular classroom activities will resume at 10:30. Students who return to school at this time will receive an excused absence.
