Please review the recess norms used during lunch time. These norms should be implemented during second recess as well.
Back to School Night
Jenny will kick off Back to School night from 5:45-6:00 in the gym. She will share school celebrations, upcoming goals and tips for helping at home. The first teacher session will be from 6:05-6:35 PM & the second session from 6:40-7:10.
I-Ready
Login Cards
You are able to print your I Ready log in cards now. Students' log in is their birthdate (not their lunch number). Here is a recap on how to access them:
1) access the site using login.iready.com or the GRE webiste
2) click the management tab on the top and select classes
3) Under the manage tab on the top left of the screen select either your reading or math class
4) Under actions of the top right of the screen select login cards
Student Powerpoint
You can also access the student presentation from your main screen (see below). It will download via powerpoint. You need to click the slideshow at the bottom of your window.
Testing Logistics
Student Log In
- Students can access the log in page using our GRE website
- An I READY app has been installed on ipads and chrome books
- An I READY bookmark has been installed on laptops
- * Install the upadate on all ipads 2 days before testing
- Approximate Time
- 45 minutes Grades 2-5
- 20-30 Grades K & 1
- Schedule at least 2 sessions for Reading and Math (4 total)
- End point is clear & brain breaks are built in
- Show video introductions for students
- Administration
- Grades 1-5: August 20 - 29 READING & MATH
- 1 session of math first
- Can Use Assessment Day for MATH Only
- K: September 17 - 28
- Watch for Red Flags & Restart - You can only restart reading during the testing sessions

Mandatory Trainings
All DCSD staff are required to complete 6 online mandatory trainings. Please register for the trainings using your DCSD district username and password. If you do not know your single sign on, please contact IT Support at 303-387-0001. All 6 mandatory trainings segments are built into 1 online session.
Search InspirED for the Online Mandatory Training specific to your school or district department using the picture link (sample image below) located in the right navigation pane.
Please scroll to find your site location.*If you work at multiple locations, select the location where you will be evaluated. The 2018-2019 Mandatory Trainings will be open for completion starting July 1, 2018 and are to be completed by September 7, 2018.
