Reminders
• Music will be in the Gold Mine room this week.
• The district will be doing instructional walk-throughs in classrooms on Tuesday from 9:00-11:30.
• All grade levels and specials need to attend staff development this week. Click here if you want to begin your EPRs prior to Wednesday. 
• The EPR refresher session has been moved to Friday, 8:00 in the Gold Mine room.
• Golden Ticket Theater will be presenting "The Lion King" on Friday in the gym. Show times are as follows:
     1:00-2:00 Grades K, 1, & 3
     2:30-3:30 Grades 2, 4, & 5
• Field Day will be Thursday, May 26th for grades 1 - 5. Grades 4 & 5 plus Meredith and Russell will be from 9:15-12:15. Grades 1 & 2 plus Castro, Shepperd, and Schwartz will be from 1:00-3:45.
• Field Day for ALL kindergarten classes will be Tuesday, May 31st from 9:30-11:15.

Substitutes 
* May is an extremely busy time for subs and we are often without 
  coverage, especially on Fridays. Please be mindful of being out this 
  month.

End of Year Checklist
* The End of Year Checklist is in your mailbox.
* Please shelve your book room materials.

Transition Folders
* Please include a hard copy of students' most recent DRA or F & P 
  assessment.
Please include blue & pink class placement sheets.
* Please include a letter to their new teacher.
* Extra articulation folders are in the conference room.
* Place blue folders in the new teachers' mailbox by 3 PM on June 
  3rd.

EPR 
* Classroom teachers release their EPRs on June 3rd 
  at 3PMPlease do not release them prior so all 
  teachers have time on the workday to complete them.
* K-3 teachers need to enter all students' DRA scores.
* 4 & 5 grade RtI & READ Act students need DRA scores.  

End of Year Staff Events
* Staff Meeting - Tuesday, May 31, at 8:00 @ the Gold Mine Room
* Teacher Party - June 2nd at 4:30 @ Brewery Bar III in Lone Tree

Technology Re-imaging & Reallocation
May 31
* Megan will be available to help teachers back up their files during their plan time.

June 1
* Megan will be available to help teachers back up their files @ 8 AM in the lab.

June 2 - June 3
* Re-image teacher computers @ technology lab

* Bring all classroom computers, chargers, headphones, ipad carts and chrome book carts to the RtI room and leave them on your assigned grade level table.

* Turn in teacher ipads to Megan for updating.  Ipads will be returned to teachers in August with classroom apps uploaded on them.

·    August 1 = First Day of School

·    August 18 = Assessment Day
·    August 19 = Assessment Day

Rolling Start
·    There will be the following two bells next year:
o   8:20 signals when students will be let into the building
o   8:30 marks when school will officially start
o   There will not be an official tardy bell. Students will be tardy after 8:30
·    Teachers will all meet their students outside on the first day of school for a flag ceremony and then walk them into class. They will receive a map of where to meet their kids August 1st.
·    Teachers will train their students how to walk to their class on the first day of school.
·    We will officially start the rolling start on the second day of school.  Parents may not walk their students into the building.
·    Jenny will draft information for parents that will go out in May.
Beginning of the Year
·    All teachers will report back on Monday, August 1st (see the first week back schedule below).
·    Teachers will only need to report on one of the workdays throughout the school year.
·    We are working to add a collaboration time at the end of the first assessment day so teachers can talk about the students from the previous year.
