Reminders

•  Certified Staff: Please attend two of the four professional development sessions offered in February & March.  Classified staff are welcome to attend.  See a description of the technology sessions offered this week below. 

•  Parent/teacher conferences are Thursday, March 13^th and Tuesday, March 18^th.

•  Please let the office know if you are having older students help in your classroom prior to their arrival. 

•  If you have not done so already, please sign up for your pre-observation, observation, and post-observation on the calendar on Janis’ desk.  

•  The TCAP schedule will be emailed to everyone on Monday, February 24^th.

•  TCAP dates: 

3^rd – 5^th grade Reading, Writing, Math:  March 4th, 5^th, 6^th, 11^th, 12^th. 

Make-up TCAP date:  March 13^th.

Using E-Portfolios to Set Goals and Have Student Reflect on their Work (grades 3-5):

• All certified staff need to sign up for their pre-observation, observation, and post-observation on the calendar on Janis’ desk by Friday. K-2 teachers need to complete the observation cycle by spring break.    3-5 teachers need to be finished by April 18. The pre-observation form was attached to the email. You will receive a sample of the pre-observation form at staff development this week. 
• We will provide your team time to discuss 21st century skills week at staff development.

•  Please sign up for Collaboration Days in the lounge.  These will take place on 2/13 and 2/18.

•  Please be thoughtful about what students are printing to the color printer.  If students need to copy something in color, please monitor when they print, so it’s just one copy.

Reminders:

• DCSD Safety and Security has created a Moodle course that is now mandatory for all district 
   employees at all levels.  This training will take about 15-20 minutes to complete.  Information 
   on how to sign up can be found here.  If you have any questions please ask Libby.

• Certified Teachers: Please complete the brief CITE 6 survey by the end of the day Monday.  

   Notes regarding GRE's work on CITE 6 were on the last barker. Please also see your grade 

   level representative for additional information.
