complain you can send them back.
• Due to our writing planning days, we will not have staff
development this week.
• Please remember to walk your class all the way outside at
the end of the day.

Halloween Party 2014 – Students will arrive at school in their costumes.
They should not have weapons, masks, or inappropriate costumes. Parties
will be from 9:15-9:55. We will begin the parade at 9:55 and it will end
at 10:15. Regular classroom routine will resume at 10:30. If you have
students who do not wish to participate in the Halloween festivities, they can
arrive at school at 10:30.
• A
map for the Halloween parade will be in your box next week.
•
Teachers, please begin thinking about who will need accommodations for PARCC
the new state assessment. In order to receive an accommodation, students must
be on a formalized plan (IEP, 504, ELLP).
•
Below are the links to your new mandatory training sessions housed in the NEW
PD System:
When you click the link it will ask you to enroll in the
session. Once enrolled, you can scroll down past the description box to begin
the training. Please have the three sessions completed by October 31.
• A survey is being conducted on behalf of the Colorado Standards and Assessments Task Force. The intent of the survey is to gain valuable insight on the impact of assessments at the district, school and classroom level so the survey is differentiated and tailored based upon the respondent’s role. We encourage everyone to participate in this important state discussion. The online survey is available here. We ask that all surveys be completed by 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 29th
