Reminders/ Announcements/Opportunities
•  We will come together as a school community on Thursday morning, 
   December 20th, to celebrate the season.  More information on our two 
   assemblies (one primary and one intermediate) will follow this week.
•  Please keep holiday classroom parties to an hour preferably in the
   afternoon. We want to make sure that students are engaged in learning
   as much as possible.
  Teachers, please come to the office if you have morning supervision and
   get a lovely, fashionable orange vest. You don’t, however, have to wear 
   it at the grocery store like Kristi did on Friday!
•  Please turn in your Top Dog names to Penny by Wednesday.  Remember
   students who are nominated for Top Dog should be those students who 
   Go For The Gold on a daily basis.  Jenny will share this information with
   parents in her Friday blog.
•  The community is currently voting on whether the feeder schools will 
   adopt one calendar next year (the split modified) or if we remain on our 
   current calendars (modified). Jenny will let you know before break the 
   outcome of the decision.
•  3rd – 5th grade teachers, please don’t forget to document TCAP

•  EPR window closes December 14th at 4:00 pm.  Parents will be able to
   view reports on December 20th at 4:00.

·      The window closes December 14th at 4:00 pm.  Parents will be able to view reports on December 20th at 4:00.
·      Comments should be made for areas that are below a 3. One general comment about the student should also be made. 
·      Top Dog certificates will be given to students this year who demonstrate what it looks like to Go For the Gold in all parts of the school on a daily basis.  Top Dog is not tied to the EPR as it has been in the past.  Please select only those students who demonstrate this behavior on a daily basis.  The production room is working on certificates that will be put in students’ Thursday folders the day before we leave for winter break.  Jenny will write a letter for parents describing how students were chosen.  
•  Please pay your social committee dues if you haven’t already.
